U Toužetíny byl zrekonstruován pomník, připomínající jednu z bitev, nebo spíš šarvátek Sedmileté války (1756 -73). Krásně upravený sloup a okolí má zejména připomínat oběti této války na všech válčících stranách. Obecní úřad Toužetín jistě zaslouží dík a uznání za tento počin.
